The most natural solvent in the world is H2O: water. From the earliest of times, humans have used water to make soups and teas from the bounty of plants that grew around them. water: an important skin component and is essential for its proper functioning. Most common ingredient in cosmetics. Usually processed to eliminate hardness and minerals, to avoid product contamination. Water can come from different origins such as the sea, thermal sources, and flower or plants waters.

grain alcohol: defined as a colorless volatile liquid obtained by distillation, either by the fermenting of carbohydrates (grains, potatoes) or hydration of ethylene. The fermenting of carbohydrates produces natural grain alcohol. Natural grain alcohol is less abrasive toward the skin and hair than synthetic alcohols. Used to bind formulas in products together. Helps to retain moisture in the skin if the ingredients are in a balanced formula. Also creates less separation and better absorption of the products. Grain alcohol does not contain gluten.
